About Us
The Wimborne Allotment Association was founded in 2008. Currently, most members are from The Leaze and St Catherines sites, but all Wimborne allotment holders are welcome.
We are a non-profit making Association, set up to raise the awareness of the allotments in our area.
Our aims are to promote the growing of vegetables, fruits, and flowers using eco friendly, sustainable and regenerative methods.
We endeavour to create links with the wider Wimborne community growing and eco friendly groups, such as Wimborne Community Garden, Planet Wimborne and more.
We work to support the various site agents in protecting and preserving the allotment sites, and ensuring plots are kept tidy, fertile, and fully occupied.
We aim to promote allotment gardening in Wimborne and to protect and preserve this facility for future generations. Your support is vital!
In order for the Association to succeed, we need as many plot holders as possible to join us.
